We are proud to share that St George’s College has been featured in The Good Schools Guide International, following an independent review of our school and community.
The review highlights the distinctive character of a St George’s education: a demanding bilingual and international education deeply rooted in heritage, community and belonging. It recognises the combination of academic depth, bilingual fluency and international perspective that prepares our students to think independently and approach the world with confidence.

One of the strongest themes throughout the review is the sense of connection and continuity that defines St George’s. From our history and traditions to the relationships built across generations, the Guide reflects on a community where students and families feel part of something that extends well beyond their years at school.
The review also highlights the way our heritage continues to evolve alongside a forward-looking educational approach — bringing together tradition and innovation across our two campuses.

The Guide recognises that a St George’s education extends well beyond academic achievement. Arts, music, drama, sport, boarding and extracurricular opportunities are all highlighted as important parts of students’ development, helping them build confidence, independence and character alongside their academic learning.

The review particularly celebrates the role of the arts in helping students discover new talents and develop skills that stay with them beyond the classroom.

The international dimension of St George’s is another key part of the review. Our Spanish-English bilingual education, International Baccalaureate programmes and diverse community contribute to an environment where students are encouraged to reason, think independently and develop an international outlook.

For The Good Schools Guide, this combination of academic ambition, tradition and community creates an education that is not simply about preparing students for their next step, but about shaping who they become.

We are proud that this independent review recognises what makes St George’s unique: a strong sense of belonging, a rich heritage and an education that continues to look towards the future.
