Over 125 Years of Tradition
With more than 125 years of history, St George’s College stands as an educational reference in Argentina. Founded in 1898 by Rev J. T. Stevenson in Quilmes, it has evolved over the years maintaining its commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of its students.
St George’s College is founded with only six boarding students, beginning a history of educational excellence.

The Old Georgian Club is formed, creating a network of alumni that endures to this day.

The Pavilion is built in honour of the coronation of King George V, a symbol of the college's tradition.

The cornerstone of the chapel is laid, a milestone in our tradition.

The Assembly Hall is constructed, the heart of major events at the college.

A new section of the College is inaugurated, expanding our educational offerings.

The school adopts a house system, with Lockwood, Farran, Agar, and Cutts, fostering identity and a sense of community.

Inauguration of the Primary School, expanding St George’s educational offering for the early school years.

Science laboratories are introduced, promoting active learning and discovery.

St George’s College becomes coeducational, welcoming 30 boarding and day female students.

Kindergarten opens, with 19 students, beginning early education at the school.

Inauguration of St George’s College North in Los Polvorines, expanding the school's presence in the Northern Zone.

With the support of the Old Georgians, the school opens its museum, a space dedicated to celebrating its historical legacy.

Construction of the new Boarding House begins, another step in the expansion and modernisation of our facilities.

Founded in 1898, St George’s College continues to grow, now with over 850 students. It is the only school in Argentina that, in addition to offering a full-day programme, provides a mixed boarding system. The school delivers a comprehensive education, combining high-level international programmes with the national curriculum in an environment that balances tradition and innovation.
North
Located on an eight-hectare campus in Los Polvorines, this site has been providing quality education since 1990. With a dynamic and modern approach, it offers rigorous academic programmes and numerous opportunities for personal development, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.

At St George's College, we seek to develop global citizens, and our Exchange Programme is an exciting part of that. We offer our students the opportunity to experience an immersive experience in another culture and enhance their English with native speakers. In addition, we welcome the students who host them, enriching our community with new perspectives and traditions.
Programa International Awards
St George’s College is one of the few schools in Latin America authorised to offer the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. Available at Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels, this optional challenge attracts numerous students each year who strive for personal growth. With four key components and increasing complexity at each level, the programme fosters personal development, resilience, and a spirit of adventure, making it an unforgettable experience.
